Hello Everyone

I'm pleased to announce that my new short film ツ"Kakejiku – Making of a Japanese Hanging Scrollツ" is available online now!

Hideyuki Kamon makes Kakejiku – the hanging scrolls you see in japanese tea rooms, temples or traditional guest houses. He is what is called a ツ"Hyōgushiツ", a scroll mounter.
In 2012, I visited him in Takarazuka, Japan where he lives and works. In the course of three days, he showed me all the steps it takes to assemble a Kakejiku from paper and fabric.

You can watch it on vimeo here: vimeo.com/nubero/kakejiku

There's more Japan related videos on my vimeo page so check those out if you want. If you want to keep up to date with the films, photos and other stuff I make, you should check out my website at www.nubero.ch where you will find my twitter link and other information.

Please let me know what you think of the film!
