Hello. I am new here. Currently serving army in my country at the same time preparing for 2011 MEXT Scholarship exam.

I only have a chance to get this scholarship because of my age. So currently I am quite confused on how to prepare for the exam for this scholarship for 2011. I had seen through the past exams and there are a few questions I am still struggling to do.

So my question is, for the Mathematics, is scientific calculator allowed during the exam? Or we have to do all Math questions manually?

How do I prepare for it? Should I just revise my GCE A level stuff for the exams?

And is there any special website or forum that can help me on preparing for the scholarship exam?

Sry in advance if anything sounds abit foolish.
Thank you.

Hi everybody.

Is there anyone having taken Math B ?
Was it both difficult and long ? or just long ? ( If i were just a freshman )
Were the results sophisticated or simple?

I have read that the monbukagakusho scholarship is fairly competitive.
Perhaps I am incorrect, but isn't this the government scholarship that places you wherever it believes you are most suited - based upon exam results?
