One of my 1960's Tamiya kit model boxes has a text on it Google translator doesn't seem to be able to understand:

日本傑作航空機シリ一ズNo.4

The first seven kanji translate as something like "Japanese Masterpiece Aircraft", but it's the four katakana that don't make sense. My hunch is they intend to indicate a "constant scale" or something like that. Google translates the last two as "singleness of purpose", which makes little sense to me.

Ah, got it. You input the wrong dash character. Try this:
シリーズ.

@Mario_Wens , would you mind posting a photo of the box? I used to be a aircraft model kit builder and collector myself. :)
