MEXT Scholarship 2017- Placement at a University

Hello All,

I have recently received two letters of acceptance from two different universities. When filling the placement preference form, It is compulsory to write all of them?. I am asking because I want to study in one of them in particular, from what I read, it is not sure that you will be placed at your first choice. Actually, both of my choices are national universities, neither public nor private. Please give me and advise whether it is better to write all alternatives or just write my choice.

It is better to fill in all of them so as to increase your chances of getting accepted at on of the university. Because even if you got the letter of Acceptance, the university can still change its mind and refuse to take you in. So my advise is for you to just fill in all of the universities from which you got LOAs (in order of your preference of course) because I believe that ultimately it is not about the university in which you get accepted but rather whether or not you get the MEXT scholarship.
