This popped up in my newsfeed, prompting me to share here: Japanese Compete To See Who Can Turn The Back Of Their Truck Into The Best Garden, And The Result Is Awesome | Bored Panda
Vaguely reminiscent of the flashy Dekotora, but with a serene touch of zen aesthetic... this seems to be a different sub-set of Japanese workmen (this time, landscape artists) that trick out their work trucks in unique and impractical ways, but the results are still interesting and impressive.
These images are from an event called the 軽トラガーデンコンテスト (Light Truck Garden Contest), held in Osaka last November.
