I've noticed we've been incrementally creeping towards that magical number of 1000 members (and growing). Granted, many are "one-hit wonders" so to speak who come to the boards looking for a particular person, frame of reference, or just seeking advice on any particular matter of concern they may have at the time. Nevertheless, it's a nice little milestone and reflects well I think on Thomas' efforts as well as our little community of social misfits. 8-p

Billions of blue blistering barnacles, Peter, don't tell me you drink that stuff (btw, it's produced in Austria). We only use Stroh 80% for cakes and pastry, lol.

Well, i can't drink it pure. I mix it with coke.
You don't need that much of it when you use the 80% version.

I did sip it pure once. It's like swallowing a burning match.

We always have a bottle of Hakutsuru at home which we get through an Italian retailer. I don't know if it's available online. Of course I'm no sake expert, but it's quite 'buvable', lol.

Looks like drinks are settled then 8-p. I'll get the ball rolling with the old "bring a dish to pass" tradition and hook us up with us some fresh Kumamoto oysters (enough to serve a thousand, heh) served with your choice of three sauces (Japanese salsa, Ceviche, or Thai fish sauce).
