There's a new kanji learning method that seems to be 人気 these days. This whole set of workbooks teach the kanji in grade order with all examples relating to うんこ. So I guess it's not just my kids that obsess about potty words and smells.
Last week I was watching 初耳学 and they were talking about the huge success this series hit last year in Japan. The reason why this "method" seems to be effective is that the word うんこ for Japanese kids is really attracting for them, which leads to a higher concentration while studying kanji. It's like to say that you feel more motivated to study Japanese through dorama than boring textbooks. :emoji_grimacing:
