After hearing seeming endless raving about great Neon Genesis Evangelion is and how it's supposedly the mack daddy of giant robot anime, I finally succumbed to curiosity and checked it out the remasted first volume ADV Films just released.
Usually when I watch a new show that comes out, if I'm not hooked by the end of the first or second episode, I give up on it immediately, but, despite being skeptical of all the hype about Evangelion, I have to admit it was pretty darn decent. The characters are intriguing, the angels were incredible, and the Eva's amazing.
Perhaps the hype about the show was justified after all. Guess I'll stick around to watch more!
