Last minute changes T_T

My plane arives in Japan at like 8:45pm... and my gf won't be able to pick my up until the next day... so what the heck can I do... do the airports have problems with people hanging around all night? or is there anywhere I can go... I tryed to find a hotel, but no luck there T_T... and the airport supposedly has a hotel... but I couldn't find more info about it...
I guess I don't mind just waiting out the night... but I don't know if theres gonna be a problem with the airport... do they have a hotel setup for this kind of situation... cause I'm lost... (once again) :?

Sorry about your situation.
I am not sure if you can stay overnight at an airpport.
Which airport are you arriving at? There are usually hotels nearby airports.

fairly sure you can kick it in the airport for that long if ya like, though itd be pretty boring. my friend was at one for 2 days before though that was here in the states. why dont you just take a train to her house or whatever? im sure it wouldnt be that hard for her to meet you then. i mean narita is a fairly long way from tokyo...

well, that was an option.. but from what I could find out, there wasn't anyway to take a train to her town at that time of night... I would have had to wait all night anyway.

well, I will be going to Hiroshima Airport (HIJ) just to clarify that.
and I don't mind waiting out the night... I have plenty to do... hehe reading my japanese books... or playing the GBA XD
I just donno if its exectable to be in the airport over night.

well, I've already been to that site... and it is useful, cause I needed that terminal map to get around... but still no info that i can find on if I can stay there...

I guess I could just wait and see... but if they kick me out, then what do I do...

My first big vacation... and I am having a heck of a time planning it... things go wrong a lot.

An advice: u go out and see the country/city around the airport, but not to far away, just like 1km, oe a couple, BUT so u manage to get back to the airport by yourself.....or u just wonder around the whole airport a couple of times...u can see if u manage to walk around the whole airport 100 times a day?

Well the experience Ive had, is that they dont like u if u sit down and starts to sleep, u should like go around alot, sit down only for an hour or so, and move around....
argh, yeah I know this didnt help , but maybe u can have more fun now?, If I was u I would have gone outside, and watch somethin atleast

Where are you staying in Japan? Can't you just go to her house by a taxi?
You could try to call the airport, or have your gf call them.
I found there is a waiting room at the airport, but I am not sure if it's open 24 hours, probably not.
