Hello all,
I want to get my first Tattoo in Japanese lettering... The tattoo I want to get are the words or symbols for "Broken Heart" because my heart is broken...

When I Google Broken Heart I get these symbols 失恋 But when I Google the word broken and heart separately I get 壊れた and ハート respectively... What does each symbol mean in 失恋 and why is it different from the individual words?

Thank you so much...

Shitsuren is heartbreak and literally means "lost love," but I would recommend against this as a tattoo, and instead contemplating the fleeting nature of all things, which are only temporary. And get a cool dragon or something instead.
