Kanji on a painting - Help?

I've wondered about this since I first got it. Do you know what it reads?

Looks like 稚治, but I don't know how to pronounce it. Maybe Wakaharu. Nothing shows up on a search engine.

That's more than what I've been able to figure out in the 3 years I've had this.

The first character is 雅.
That makes the full name reading likely to be either Masaharu or Masaji.

The seal on the image (the red mark below the characters) is quite faded. If you could provide an extremely high resolution and clear photo of the seal (probably it would be necessary to remove the plastic covering and use a tripod to prevent blur), we could probably identify what it says, which would give another clue as to the artist.

Edit: if taking a hi-res photo of the seal, use the camera's macro mode. (That probably goes without saying, but I figure it's better to mention it than assume.)
