This might be needless to say, but 豫 is the traditional form of 予, thus, 伊豫/伊予 refers to Iyo Province, the present Ehime Prefecture. Iyo Province - Wikipedia
sorry joadbres.. u are right that's the link i got for that stone, i was onluy able to identify from that page the kaji part: "梅ケ畑砥石 中勝" but the other characters on the second pic were to small for me to even try and i dont think they were shown on the pic... and form the first pic.. the first two characters seemed to me like 伊豫 but t
but the rest being written in Pen i could not identify in the rest.
i wonder what the numbers at the end of the stamp mean...
