Kana screensavers, wallpapers, etc.

Hi,

I am looking for material I could use to remember my kanas. So, I was hoping to find a screensaver which could help me in this task.

However, when I use google, I only find paying screensavers Does anybody know any free screensaver ? Or at least a wallpaper I could use ?

You can take a bog standard free screen saver (e.g. Marquee) and type kana into it.

Or at least a wallpaper I could use ?

Take any graphic based kana chart, Right-Click -> Set as background.
Or
take any _non_ graphic based kana chart, screen-copy into graphics program -> save -> open into Windows Picture viewer -> Right-click -> set as background.

If you post a picture you would like to use as a wallpaper I could put the two kana alphabets on it with Photoshop. Then you could use it both as wallpaper and as a picture in a screensaver that displays a picture slide show (WinXP already has such a screen saver, but if you don't have that I'm sure you could easily find a screen saver that does that)

For the wallpaper-thing, I know I could just use a kana chart as a wallpaper. But, the problem is that most of the time the image doesn't fit the screen and the result is huge pixelled kanas.

What I'm looking for is a picture of both syllabairies (hiragana and katakana) put side by side and designed to be in 1024*768 or 1280*1024...

For example, the two charts present on japanese-kanji.org and made by whizzkid would be perfect as a wallpaper but they don't "fit" my screen resolution and the result isn't nice...

Now, about the screensaver-thing, your solution @PaulTB seems quite complicated for me :/. Hasn't anybody already made such a screensaver. I know there are paying solutions, but I'm not ready to pay 20$ just for a simple screensaver...

Just select 'Center' or 'Tile' but _not_ 'Stretch' from the
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display->Desktop
bit.
