jusched.exe disabling

If you run Java apps, then you may have this java update scheduler program that acts like spyware...I found this site that shows how to disable it....
performance is much smoother now...

Hmm.. I have Java Plug-in 1.3.1 and 1.3.1 02 Control Panals. In neither could I find an "automatic update" setting...

mines 1.4.somethng and its there under "update"

I looked at another computer and this as 1.4.0-beta3, still no update thing. :\

maybe because its a beta version?
could just get get rid of the old versions and download the new one from sun. then you can disable it lol

could be the cause of the confusion; the article is for sun's java.
though the reg hack could work for others, i dont know.

while they perform the same function, depending on who made it, certain things will be different.
