Japanese Manners

That's a pretty big question. Maybe try reading a book about the subject. But, in general, just be a very polite person and you will approximate Japanese manners.

I have found the concept of manners to be strictly one of culture.
For example the large number of japanese who speak with their mouth full of food, yet when smiling they often cover their mouth.
Or how in the USA often a line consists of whomever can "push" to the front when the bus arrives, which rarely happens in japan.

manners are in themselves simply behavior, GOOD manners and BAD manners are cultural. we bring our ethnocentric behavior model when we judge other cultures manners. For example spitting in China is acceptable, but if you try it in the NY subway there is a fine and a ticket for doing it.

far too complex a subject. I suggest the OP ask a more detailed question please.
