Japanese laws?

Out of interest, what are the laws for common things such as alcahol, drugs and driving? Not that ill be old enough to do any and I dont do drugs of any sort. Is it acceptable to have a little drink in private?

In private..I dunno about Japan but when I was 4 years old my dad let me have a little drink here and there :gulp:

My mother droped me head first onto the rockery when I was a baby, and cracked my skull.
