First, Im a chinese. Second im here to voice my opinion and real history.

In the past, 50 years ago, the Japanese have killed my peoples more than 10 to 30 million. Brutally kill and torture my peoples to dead.

And today, the president of Japan visit to the dead Japanese soldier shrine and honor them. And addionally, the Japanese are secretly build up their army and hoping the history will repeat. More over the government are teaching false history to their peoples. Do a research and you will understand.

Well, I wanted to tell you all Japanese. Do not joke with us. We "Chinese" will never scare at your Japanese imperial anymore. So you think you are so great? Go ahead, attack china now and let us see what will happen.

Im not worrying anymore, because we know that we already have the power to defense ourselves. Don窶冲 you ever try to look down on my peoples. We are not WW2 anymore. We are new generation and we are rising.

But i do agree with the history part. We should have better history lessons in schools teaching the children about things that really happened and making them aware of what happened. We are coming into a new age where the younger generations haven't experienced war and it can be a very dangerous situation (think of the attitudes of people in 1938 in Britain and the commonwealth)

He considers Japan a friend. He would be happy to nuke China into a large parking lot for Russia & surrounding countries. When you strighten out all your countries problems then complain about other countries.
Perhaps you should study China's history of invasion's and evil doing. I think the saying about "he who is without sin casting stones" fits you & your country.

Not just japan, im talking about all countries of the world. That means China, America, England, Australia and all the others too.

Plus I think this theme has been done a few times (rape of nanking etc).

I would like to tell you that the Japanese people today are very different from the ones from 1910s to 1940s. Maybe because they have been leading a comfortable life (at least economically) for a long time, all of the Japanese people I know are very peace-loving. War is the last thing they want in this world, at least that's my impression. (That's why President Bush is so unpopular in Japan).

The reason they're building their navy and stuff is because they want to be able to defend themselves from China. (Especially when they know that there are angry Chinese people like you, no offense).

Off topic: Why does the Chinese people in Mainland China get so angry over Japan recently while Chinese people from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore in general like Japan so much?

Finally, what goes around comes around. Actually, in the long run Japan herself will suffer the most from the cover-up on issues like comfort women and Nanjing Massacre. Dragon, it's not necessary to go to forum like this one to express your hositility toward the Japanese government. From time to time, the western media like CNN and BBC will have large coverage on what Japanese had done to Koreans and Chinese during WWII. (Maybe because "sex sells", the coverage on Comfort Women is much larger though).

Besides there are numerous websites run by Koreans and different interest groups in the world. e.g. http://www.hatejapan.com and Asian Holocaust : WMD Opium, Sex Slaves, Nanjing Massacre, Pillage, Slavery, WMD Unit 731, 100, 516. After reading these websites, my American-Japanese friends told me that they wish their governement had done more to improve their relationship with the other Asian countries.

If you see people relationship are close to japanese is because it is a business relationship. Read the news and do more research you'll understand.

For one, japan would not attack china "Japan has no real military and are not allowed to have one bye the pacts signed at the end of WW2, The USA protects japan from invasion, Japans so called military "while very good" Is made to protect it from inside threats not outside warfare."

Also japan has no nuclear weapons.

To top that off, if you were to attack japan you would thus be attacking america. As the USA has a few military bases in japan and keeps a large number of troops / ships and the like over there. In fact it has been rumored that america has ICBMs stored in japan as well.

As for history, all nations F up on it. Look at america, We make a HUGE deal about the alamo where 50 some people died but no one talks about the death marchs where millions died on the way to japan as pows.

If You Love Death, Evil, Killing.....

BE FILLED WITH HATE !!! As long as we allow ourselves to be filled with hate, innocent people will die. Not hateing is impossible, but what we do with the energy that that hate can produce is the difference. Look at the situation in Israel.They go on & on killing each other and it never ends. Someone filled with hate wants to get even for something done by the other side, and kills. Then the other side has to kill to get even. All the people who have died for no good reason due to hate, what a waste.It takes a hero of gigantic proportion to be able to forgive and put their energy toward healing a rift. Use the history of evil deeds to teach others how to avoid the same mistakes. Promoting peace & love for the future will do so much more good then being filled with hate over things in the past!

Yes Japan did very bad things in ww2, I don't deny that and I'm very sorry for it, but you can't blame a newer generation for what a older generation before them did. The new generation can't change the bad things that happend in the past.
I think the Yasukuni shrine visits are bad because of the ww2 war criminals that are there. I also think the Japanese government should give appologies for the bad things that the older government at the time of ww2 did.
You can start a new war, but that would only bring more doom and destruction and create more hate.
We should look more into the future and not stay in the past so much.

I have went into a couple of Japanese military/politics forums
and I have seen Japanese people dissing the Chinese and saying want to nuke our country,
but then again there are warheads in maybe every country
also I have seen some Japanese people went into a site about Japan's invasion and war crimes (Nanaking massacre,rapes,comfort women) and apologized for what their country did to Chinese people,some said they did not know about those things because the Japanese government trying to cover up

if we do that,we are the same as the Japanese who invaded us,
and I don't agree with wars,I like peace.

there is a Japanese female teacher,about 15 years ago,
she brought her students to Nanking for school field trip,
she saw those horrible things,she didn't really know about the Japanese war crimes,she had not read about Japanese invasion in the text books that she read in her days when she was a student,and she could not find information about the invasion in the text books that she was using to teach her students either.

she really wants to prove that the Japanese did such thing
let the new generation of Japanese people know about it and wants the Japanese government to apologize.
in these many years,she goes back and forth between China and Japan,
went to China to collect proves and informations,and even made documentary videos with a Chinese female.
she called for a conference in Japan,and asked a Chinese woman (who was a comfort woman during the Japanese invasion) to come to the conference and speak,
outside the place where the conference was held,there were politician in car,with a loudspeaker,shouting propagandas like 'she is a traitor','Nanking massacre is fake,it never happened,the Chinese made up the story',
the Chinese woman told the Japanese audience about her experience and some people were in tears,
the conference was stopped because some Japanese triads came in and threaten her, slashed the TV screen with a knife

it is a tough struggle,but she never gave up

In the case of WWII, most war criminals are already dead. You can't blame other generations, who weren't born or were just children (with no influence or power to change things) at the time.

Personally, as a historian, I think that China has much more to apologise for than Japan. China has more than 2500 years of history of invading neighbouring countries or pressuring them to pay tributes. That is true for Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Tibet and even Japan. Actually, about half of present day China should not be China. All the Western part, not just Tibet, but also the North-West, was not ethnically or culturally Chinese until a few decades ago when the Chinese government planned a "slow genocide" by sending hundreds of thousands Chinese settlers supplant the native Cenral Asian related to Khazaks, Uzbeks, Turmens, etc. They of course did the same in Tibet, where they harshly repressed the local (or national, depending on one's point of view) by prohibiting people to practice their traditions, religion, etc.

How would Chinese feel if Japan had forced them to speak only Japanese, adopt Shinto as a religion and forget about their traditions and origins. Actually, that would have been more akward as Japan imported so much from China in the first place. So let's say, it should have been the other way round with Tibetans and Central Asians, eventhough that's impossible because of the huge difference in population.

Anyway, my point is that Japan hasn't invaded, conquered, bullied or supplanted any other peoples/countries in history outside the 40 years between 1905 and 1945. China has done it repeatedly since as long as civilisations exist. Chinese should be ashamed of themselves to teach others lessons or ask for reparations and official aplogies when thet are still bullying and killing Tibetans and Central Asians now.
