Hi everyone!! I'm new here! :eek:)
I am student doing a research project about Japanese Ghosts... I'm looking for someone who can tell me about it!! If you do, please contact me, I'd love if I could ask you some questions.

Japanese ghost/supernatural tales are called "kaidan" (spelled "kwaidan" in old publications).

This is the most typical Japanese ghost!

A woman in siro-shozoku(white kimono),
with her both hands in front of her chest, like this,

saying "urameshiya(I hold a grudge...)".
I think among male ghosts,
ochimusha(defeated and fled samurai) is most common.
He is severely injured and his side hair is drooping.
Sometimes his head is skewered with a bow!!
