japanese fonts for osx java...

i am desperate... i have been looking for info on how to display japanese in java apps under osx without any luck. the sun site gives info only for solaris and windows and other pages don't even mention that.

i have been trying to use omegaT, a java app for translators but the japanese texts i try to input are displayed as squares...

any help is welcome...
