NUMBER OF INCIDENTS vs POPULATION

With those statistics Japan is probably one of the safest countries in the world ! That many crimes happen in one day in some countries. Of course 1 child victimized is too many. Parent education about computer dangers and better software protection might help to bring the crime down. When it comes to all types of crime, I would feel safer in Japan than most other countries with a similer large population. The world could do a great deal better in protecting our children !

That is some extremely low statistics, im sure australia with a population of a mear 20million has higher ratesof crime (my city, Adelaide, is claimed to be the most dangerous city in the world! eep)
