I often hear the same person say both itte and yuutte for 言って even during the same conversation. Can yuutte be considered hyoujungo or is it a dialect pronunciation?
"Itte" is correct in standard Japanese, but actually, "yutte" is often used, too. It's a kind of colloquial/slangy pronunciation, so it's better to avoid using it in a formal situation.
