That's not wrong, but 今朝 usually refer to early this morning, so it can be used only in a specific time zone (e.g. very early morning). I would use 朝のうちに or 午前中に "before noon" instead.

It was 9:30 am this morning and I wanted to speak in Japanese to the wife about cleaning the bedroom windows since she bought new curtains for them. She understood what I said, but she rarely would correct me if I'm wrong, but her response was, "about time" LOL
