Hello,
I was wondering if there was a kanji character for the direct translation of the word "terror"?

Not a character but a compound word 恐怖 is the most common.

Ok, thank you! Could those compound words also be interpreted as a similar word like scary or frightening? Or does it translate most commonly means terror?

This is a word, not words. The two kanji represent a noun "terror", not adjectives "scary" or "frightening".
