im not sure about when you are supposed to watch the OAV's but i think i remember my brother saying something about them substituting episodes in the middle of the series with OAV's so they are like part of the show essential to the plot or something.... I'm not sure about that though so dun trust me ^_^, I'll ask my brother for yeh later he knows a lot about the series.
