Can you hear it?
or just can you hear

it'd be great if you type it in japanese letters and the pronounciation in japanese

and what do you think i should start with if i'm learning japanese
i tried memorizing hiragana
it's way too hard for me
i think i should practice reading some stuff and it'll prolly get into my head somehow..
but then most of the books and stuff have kanji in every sentence
:/ what should i do

You should use textbooks or other similarly structured learning materials.

In answer to your question:

きこえますか
聞こえますか
kikoemasu ka

or just can you hear
Are you talking about someone that appears to be deaf or hard of hearing ?

Because "Can you hear (it) ?" isn't a normal question unless you're on the phone with a bad connection or in a very loud room or something...☝

Why? Say, you hear something, and the other person doesn't notice it.

If they didn't notice at all personally I would ask "Did you hear that ?"

The Japanese "kikoeru(ta)?" can also handle "Do/Did you hear me?" but again the less ambiguous or potentially rude is "Kiiteru no?" (Are you listening?) Kiitenaijanai! (You're not listening!) etc.
