Hello,

A question that only Japan experts such as yourselves may be able to answer: how to book a round trip flight that originates in Tokyo?

I'm looking to travel to China for a couple of days and return to Tokyo. I verified that this is possible as far as visa and airline requirements are concerned, but the price quotes I've been receiving are staggering, in the $1,000 range.

Can you recommend website or travel agencies in Japan that can provide reasonable prices? I've looked at JAL, Air Gorilla (aggregator), and called STA travel. So fare nothing under $1,000 (~100,000 JPY). Just for comparison, the trip from LA to Tokyo is less than $900...

Thanks for having this forum,

Travelling agencies such as HIS are offering reasonable priced air tickets.
But the cost varies depeding on the destination and the time you travel.
Here's the search result at HIS's webpage. (Flyling from Tokyo/Narita)
Though they are mostly written in Japanese, you can see the name of destination in English and the price on the right (caution: only the cheapest prices are shown, they could be more depeding on the time and airliner.)
