Hi. What I basically mean is onigiri are generally wrapped in nori, right? And I wonder, do people usually eat the nori part as well?

In much the same way that sandwich fillings are wrapped in bread.

This question is like if you eat Raisin Bran, do you separate out the raisins, or the bran, or are you supposed to eat one along with the other.

Well it's good to be sure. One time I got fooled with Kashiwa-mochi or Sakura-mochi. One of them you are supposed to eat the leaf and the other one you aren't. I don't eat them enough to remember which is which.
