Ok, I understand the basics. I have a blog already, but now I want to create my own site. Nothing too fancy to start with, but I need it to be able to host images. The site will be for our Kendo club here in Okinawa. I am going to need to be able to support both English and Japanese characters. Anyone have any ideas? Sorry if these are basic questions, but the Internet age kinda crept up on me and then passed me by...now I'm just trying to catch up! 😌

Any suggestions are welcomed...Thanks to you all! 🙇‍♂️

i'm not sure what your question is, are you looking for a program to create websites with or a webhosting where you can store your website on?

Sorry to come across so confusing. It is 6:15am and I haven't slept much in the last two days! :p

find yourself a place holder(webhoster). You know geocities, tripod, angelfire, etc. If you don't want ads on your site, then you're gonna have to roll out some money. I know Geocities does it step by step getting your html on the www.

not nessecairally.

there is a free host who gives all the features of a payed host.
frandt.com - This website is for sale! - fran dt Resources and Information.
you have 100mb space, cpanel, ftpaccess. and most important; no ads.

the registration time does take quite a while though. 1-2 weeks. and sometimes the ftpaccess is not optimal.

for other free hosts:
Tripod.co.uk: Succeed Online
0Catch.com - free and affordable hosting plans for business and personal web sites including CGI and

i would reccomand pixelhosting or interweb, they have large storagespaces (400-500mb) at a low price. (from 30-50竄ャ /year)
