I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good and FREE hiragana writing exersises online? Similar to the Joyo katakana ones. I don't seem to be able to find any and it's really hard learning hiragana from a computer program. I NEED to write them but I want some kind of paper based guidance that I can print off the internet. Does anyone know of any?

And as a side note:
Does this make sense?

どこわ私の猫ですか

Better is: どこは私の猫ですか。

Just had to change the "wa" to "ha." "Where is my cat?"

Though I think as a matter of personal preference, I would say: "(私の)猫がどこですか。"

Though same basic meaning.

Best hiragana/katakana/kanji practice, get a 1cm square grid text book. And write write write write write write write write write write write write write write......

Its how its done in japan ;)

I actually find that method to be really effective. I managed to nail down hiragana in only two and a half hours.
BRING ON THE KATAKANA, BYOTCH.
p.s.
I'm afraid of kanji :(

Hi, there. I've found this link.pdf now.

Hiragana & Katakana Work Sheets | Japan Forum

How do you like it?

どこわ私の猫ですか
I could understand the situation fully. Maybe your cat is missing and you're searching for it.

Natural one is,
私の猫はどこにいますか
or
私の猫はどこに行(い)きましたか

"いますか" or "行きましたか" is natural in searching for a living thing.

Even though I've noted that Ashiro has already joined my website, I would still like to point out for others searching for something like this both for kana and kanji that I have it on my site: David Hallgren's Japanese Page

Thanks for that worksheet link akihabara!
Yes I'd like to recommend the site David has made. Not only does it have some great stuff on there its a pleasure to use the site too.
