hey there! (could i get some advice)

Hi guys!
Firstly a little Background (male/21/U.K)
I passed my degree on friday.. which means i got my job with GEOS
i'm going to be leaving for Japan September the 1st

I am to be posted in the Kyushu area.. in the Oita prefecture,
is there anything you can tell me about this?

Also until then i have a lot of work sheets and overall GEOS work to do.. have any of you done this kind of thing before?

as well as one last 3 day training even in london where i have to prepare and take an english class.. of which i have been given no other information than that.. any suggestions, advice

To be fair the whole concept of me going to live in Japan still has not dawned on me so i will probably have a nervous break down soon
