Japanese WWII flag
Captured Japanese flag brought back from the Pacific with Japanese military trousers, shirts...
Gee, for a peach of a guy like you, only $2. Wouldn't want to break you.How much did you pay for this? You have managed to buy what must the the absolute earliest Japanese WWII relic in existence. It is dated January 1st, 1926!
It is a list of names of people belonging to a "respect the elderly" group and has jacksquat to do with WWII.
I'll give you $5 for it.
Thank you...it has a stamp on it as inspected when being sent back in 1945, and most items from the trunk it was in are tagged as well (several army and navy tunics, pants, a canteen, etc). Any way to post in Japan to see if the group is still around? I'd be open to returning it to someone it would be important to.Judging from the surnames of the members, the group was in somewhere in Okinawa.
