Hello!

I wanted to get a tattoo of a saying on my arm in Japanese and they're are many translation website/applications, but they all come out different. I am not quite sure what translation is correct. Was wondering if one of y'all could help me!

Saying:
Just have a little of faith

What do you call it when you use the te-form as a command?

I don't know. But absent any context, how would one know that it is a command and not a request?
I wasn't differentiating between the two. Either way you're asking somebody to do something.
So... what is the "request" grammatical form called then?
