While reading, there was a sentence I came across, and then I tried to translate it.
The full sentence is "三つ思ったらそのうち二つは言わないようにしろよ"
The translation I come up with, "When I think of these three things, make sure you don't eventually say these two things!" sounds...off to me. I think I'm on the right track, though? Or maybe not, haha.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

三つ doesn't refer to specific thoughts.
The subject of 思ったら is also you.
そのうち is not an adverb "eventually". It's "その" + "うち/内 as 中", and その refers to 三つ.

Oh, okay. So, would "When you think of three things, make sure that you don't say two of those things" be a more appropriate translation?
