Hi! Just trying my luck here.

I'm writing my Nihonggo Rirekisho and I can't write these few sentences into Japanese. Please help me translate these into very formal Japanese. Thank you very much.

1. Being an Engineering student/graduate, I want to work in the Science or Engineering department
2. Have not yet taken JLPT. My Japanese level is around N5

You don't need to translate it very directly. Feel free to add extra words if you deem it necessary for the context. Thank you!

1.工学を専攻しておりますので、理工学系の部署に勤務させていただけたらと考えております。
2.JLPTを受験したことはございません。私の日本語能力はN5相当であろうと思われます。

Your Japanese level is around JLPT N5, nevertheless you are going to submit a document written in this kind of "very formal Japanese"??

You should also be careful in the future who translates what for you. This is an online forum anyone can accidentally incorrectly translate something, and if this is something important to you, your pretty much screwed aren't you?
Not that his translation is wrong, it probably is not, but you should consider such a thing in the future.

Also, JLPT is 日本語能力試験. I'm not sure if I've ever seen JLPT in Japanese.
