Do you mean like first and middle names that go well together? Japanese people today generally only have a given and family name.....

Maybe we're supposed to check their blood type ...

lol, my Japanese teacher who is a native speaker couldn't really understand this point in the culture because he said there are only a couple major blood types over there. So like 50% of people are going to be the same, so it doesn't really tell you anything about a person to know what blood type they are.

Something like that anyway. To stay on topic, his name is

Yoshio Satoh

I'm confused... Compatible how?

I hope you're not talking stroke count. That can get tricky... :p

Actually I do have a vague recollection of some sort of numerology system based on the stroke count of your name ... 😅

Oh yes. I've been through hours upon hours of that, so to make sure one has the best chance of having the best future possible...*sigh*

- WWWJDIC
- select enamdic
- type in a kanji you think is appropriate for the character (e.g. 力 = strength)
- add a _normal_ (not Japanese) space then (m) <- for male given name
- search
Tsuyoshi (m)
Rikisaburou (m)
Rikizaburou (m)
Rikitarou (m)
Rikitarou (m)
