In my web design class we were briefly told how to make a link so that a person didn't have to scroll down the page. Does anyone know how to do that because it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a bunch of peoms on one page so it's kinda long. I figured it'd be easier that way. Thanks in advance.

a link so that a person didn't have to scroll down the page? what do you mean? i dont think a link have anything to do with scrolling a page.

I don't know how to explain it. I know you attach the tag to a some text so that when u click on the link it takes u to the bottom of the page or the middle or what ever. Does that make any sence? Do you know what I mean?

I see. let say you have a MyPoem section almost in the bottom of the page, and you want the user dont have to scroll to get there right? in the link above put the anchor like
<a href="#mypoem">go to my poem in the bottom</a>

and then write your poem just after this tag.
<a name="mypoem"></a> -MyPoem section goes here-

if you want to go to top of the page just use
<a href="#top">back to top</a>

that pretty much will do the trick.
