Hello everyone. I'm a half Japanese man living in London. I'm considering moving to Japan in the not too distant future, maybe this forum will be a good place to keep cultivating this idea. 
One of my little passions is learning about the "etymology" of Chinese characters, I'm talking about the meaning of the shapes. I refer to 白川静 Shirakawa Shizuka for that, maybe I'll be able to share something about it. I also believe that, if used to learn kanji, the didactic value is incalculable. I hate methods like the Heisig one with a passion (another passion of mine).
I am a weak-intermediate player of the game of Go (囲碁), between 6 and 3 kyu. I'm a lazy player, mostly watch professional games instead of playing.
