Must check with your local immigration office for the correct answer on that. Bigger cities might be busy at this time of year so go in early morning.
Good luck.
What kind of visa does your husband have?

Is your husband in Japan? If so, as suggested by @musicisgood, he should consult with the nearest immigration bureau.

Some info here:

Probably but you should check. Visas in Japan generally aren't tied to one employer so you can change jobs but there are time limits etc

It sounds like your husband is not in Japan at the moment? If so, and if all the visa paperwork is finished, he should be able to come to Japan under his current visa as if he were starting work at his employer. Generally speaking, he can change jobs within three months as long as the new job is of the same type as the old one. The visa doesn't automatically become invalid if your husband's company goes bankrupt and there isn't an absolute ban on switching jobs. But the visa is ostensibly for the purpose of allowing you to be employed at the company which agreed to hire you, so in this regard there is a connection that ties you to the employer, even if the Department of Justice does allow this connection to be modified in certain circumstances.
