As I am new to this Forum, I would like to briefly introduce myself:
I'm a 26-year-old girl from Germany, who has just recently started to learn Japanese.
I am very interested in languages (I work as a foreign language correspondent for English), and the Japanese language started to fascinate me when I saw the first Anime on TV. So I started to gather information about the language and soon realized that there is no learning Japanese without learning about the Japanese people and culture. And now I've found this Forum, where I'm sure I'll learn a lot of intersting things (have already learned some new words
)
