Greatest Battle?

What does everyone think would be the best battle between which 2 heroes or villains? If you could give the name and anime show they are from, and whether they are a hero or villain.

I don't really know, I haven't watched enough anime yet, but please lets hear your views!

i think the battle between goku( hero) and (majin) vegeta(villan kinda) in Dragon ball Z was really cool

I like the battle between Cloud and Sephiroth on Final Fantasy VII. I mean, you win in the game, but the fact that Square Enix was so dedicated to reviving it they made Advent Children is awesome. Plus, Sephiroth did become a "One Winged Angel" making the fight a bit harder

Probably one of the best classic ones Final Battle in Super Dimentional Fortress Macross between the Zentredi and the Macross, either the Television version or the Do you Remeber love Version (both are amazing). The vision of Minmay Singing and urging on the UN Spacy defenders while they fight for survival is epic in scope. Nothing in Gundam comes close, (especially the let down of Char' Counterattack).

I always thought that the final battle between Shishio Makoto and Kenshin was decent, but the earlier fight between Kenshin and Saitoh Hajime was waaaaaaay better. The way he goads Kenshin is shows his evil, as well as his hidden strategy..

This is mine...I HATE GOKU! GO VEGETA!

also battle with lord van and in allen. And dilandau in the last episodes of escaflowne

In one battle Van whipped the floor with Dilandau. It was great animation but my favourite would be... hmmm.... hard to pick. Ninja Scroll has some great action sequences, Kenshin has some superb action moments, but the most recent to me is Spike Spiegel storming the Red Dragon Syndicate Headquarters, oh and it's movie where he has some ribs broken by Vicent or does some sparring with Electra.

Strangely what comes to mind related to this topic is a death that moved me a lot: Nicholas D. Wolfwood in Trigun.

Definetely an excellent fight! One of the best I have seen for sure. Now that I think about it some of the fights on Flame of Recca were pretty sweet as well...
