This is a flag I was told my great grandfather acquired while in Burma during WW2. Through my research I have come to find that some of these are fake. I am hoping someone would be willing to take the time to translate and give me their opinion as to the authenticity of this flag. Also, please let me know if the flag orientation is correct in the photo.

I had to split the photo up due to file size. Let me know if more detailed photos are needed.

Thank you in advance!

Ryan

Looks fair to me. Phrase at the top is "(Pray for) Good Luck in Battle", as is nearly always the case with these things. The other writings are all names. The name of the recipient looks like
岡部崇邦 OKABE, Takakuni

Thank you, Majestic, your input is very much appreciated! If anyone else has comments or opinions I would love to hear them.
