looking for someone to translate the names and slogans on this flag for record in our museum. The flag will be part of a display with other artifacts honoring the Japanese soldiers who sacrificed themselves honorably for their country. we want to show those who visit that regardless of cultural differences...both sides were just regular people, and not the raciest stereo types that each country's government propaganda portrayed .
Thank you

There is a slogan Do your best, Matsuda on the flag, thus, the recipient name of the flag is Matsuda. Also, one of the dedicators is 水橋青?学校長 the principal of a school in Mizuhashi; a region in Toyama city, Toyama prefecture, so Matsuda might be from there.

Other slogans are;
Young eagle

Protection of the divine country

Destroy the enemy!!

Overawe the enemy

Loyalty

Fight bravely

Fight well, battle well

Shoot

Suicide attack spirit

成徳
virtue practicing

Eternal good luck in battle
I pray wholeheartedly that divine wind continues to blow.
?
The Imperial Rescript to Soldiers and Sailors is always in your heart.

The rest are all signatures.

Amazing! thank you so much for your help! about the signatures, are they simple names, or names and titles as in the name denoting "principal"? is there anything that may be a clue as to the date or year of this piece?

Unfortunately, the signatures are just names and there is nothing mentioned about the date.
Incidentally, the flag is upside down in the picture.
