Is there any digital library that you can download a free e-book about japanese history in japanese? esp. meiji jidai

Please don't overuse the bold and size features; it makes reading a pain.

Aozora Bunko is the most popular digital library featuring books for which copyrights have expired. You'll find many books from the Meiji Period, though I don't know about Meiji history.

青空文庫 Aozora Bunko

This is a commercial site but is currently offering free downloads until Jan. 12. You need to subscribe and download their software. They have modern bestsellers:

I don't know any that specialize in history...:sorry:
