Wahh, incredible. I didn't count the "of" either. Really interesting experiment. What's the explanation for this ?

My wife has just made the test and also counted 3 "f". I expected that she find them all as, being Japanese,. she scrutinised more than I did (it read it in 3sec and she did it in 10sec ). So it seems to be the same for everybody, regardless of what's their mother-tongue or how attentive they are.

Okay...I did this not too long ago. A friend of mine sent it to me. I think it was a different text, but it was the same test--to see if you could spot all of the f's.

Having known what this was, I went through it several times and still only got 3.

I think I'm brain dead too?

This was so cool, Den4! I got 3 both times!! I even checked to see if they had changed the wording on me, but it was the same. I completely overlooked the "of"s!
