Are there any universities besides temple university offering English taught undergraduate computer science programs in Japan? (or any undergraduate degree at the tech field but with different name)

Hi Squexy,
Maybe you can look into Waseda University's undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. I know the Fundamental Science and Engineering program has concentrations in computer science and engineering, and the classes are taught in English so no Japanese is required! There might be other universities that offer undergraduate computer science programs in English. Look up Global 30 for more information. Hope I helped!

Hello, Squexy. Keio University has The GIGA (Global Information and Governance Academics) Program. This undergraduate program is interdisciplinary (while mainly in information technology and governance, there are many other fields you can learn and research on this program as well!) and taught in English.

The GIGA Program is held by the twin faculty of Shonan Fujisawa Campus: Faculty of Environment and Information Science and Faculty of Policy Management. You will be enrolled to either faculty, but of course you can take the courses offered by the other one. This program begins on September each year.

Ah, another good news! If you are enrolled in this program, you will have an opportunity to join the acceleration program: bachelor's degree and master's degree in 4 years only (3 undergraduate years on The GIGA Program and 1 graduate year on Graduate School of Media and Governance).

Refer to Keio's International Center for more information. I have been accepted to The GIGA Program 2016, so you can also tell me if you have any inquiry ;)
