I would love to play DOOM 3 
BUT my p.c is not powerful enough

The doom thing is getting kinda old.
If the monsters have upside down heads, even flying heads some with jaws 4 times larger than their body! it's just too funny and stupid in my opinion.. how do they survive? how can they even move around?
I played the "run-shoot-shoot some more" games before, but grew out of it.
But HL2 would be intersting. i saw a demonstration video and I'm really looking forward to playing it. i especially liked the part where you can move around and use any object avaliable as shield or weapon

i just tried doom 3.. even though it lags onm my puter even when i have it all dragged down to minimal settings it's just playable...
all the upside down heads and stuff.. i havent gotten that far yet, i'm just killing my infected former friends... i must say, i'm not much of a games person anymore, but this game is giving me some lovely frights.. i was told alien vs pred 2 was gonna jolt me back when it came out so i tried it. I didn't get jolted the slightest... doom has managed to freak me out at times already... so i give it a good score

the PC version is going to be better than the Xbox version simpy because of the processor and graphics card restraints of the xbox.
I read on one of the guys who worked on Doom3 .plan sites that you wont be able to run the game on proper full detail settings yet because you need the 512mb cards aswell.
Im going to try and get this game next week (it comes out on friday in the UK i think :? ) I know its gonna run like a pregnant woman...but it should still be fun.

Here in Southern California it came out in some Best Buys on the 30th because they broke street date. As for my store, it came out on the 3rd. Anywho, I've heard from a few people that it _does_ give quite a fright. That is the exact reason I'm soon gonna be "testing" it.
