Chirashizushi : ちらし寿司
but I need to be certain thats the right translation.
also need the katana for CHIRASHIYA as in "house of chirashi" or place of chirashi
essentially a restaurant that serves chirashi bowls... CHIRASHI-YA?

Yes it's ちらし寿司 in hiragana and kanji, チラシズシ in katakana. The most common way to write "Chirashiya" is ちらし屋. Refer to the wiki page linked below about the difference.
Japanese writing system - Wikipedia

"Chirashi" is the shortened form of "Chirasizushi", so it can mean "Chirasizushi" in a certain context. "Chirashi" is the noun form of a verb "chirasu", meaning "to scatter/strew", and it's from the shape of sushi; toppings are scattered on rice. However, note that "chirashi" can have other meanings. It can mean flyer/handbill/leaflet, for instance (this is also from "to scatter/strew", as you can guess).
