Touching on the stalemate in the six-party talks on denuclearizing Pyongyang, the Tokyo governor Shintaro Ishihara said the easiest way to resolve all problems with North Korea is for it to be integrated into China.

"This would be the easiest way, even for the United States," said Ishihara, whose remarks often provoke controversy. "I wouldn't imagine that China would object to that, although there might be some opposition from South Korea."

I think he is quite right.

Originally China spent millions of lives during Korean War for NK. Sons of Chairman Mao died there during the war. I can hardly imagine that China would release North Korea to South Korea. Plus, Greater Korea is not beneficial to Japan and China, either.

Chinese full control over North Korea will be the short cut for solving NK's abduction of Japanese citizens.

I think everybody must be happy. GO China 🙂

What do you think?

I think America should just annex Japan to stop illegal whaling, since that makes about as much sense.

You don't say... I've always felt similarly about Canada. It doesn't feel right having this huge gap between the main states of the US and Alaska now does it. Besides we are bigger and more important right?

In my opinion, all that remains is to decide what to rename it when we break it down into states.

(Seriously, Ishihara is one of the most frightening dumbasses to every be birthed in Japan. I cannot believe he is governor and someone needs to ***** slap this idiot every time he speaks. I have yet to find anyone in the United States who matches his level of stupidity... and that is a major statement!)

China's Alleged Plot to Annex North Korea
"China intends to assert preemptive rights to the North Korean region following a collapse of North Korea." "China schemes to assert vested interests in North Korean territory." A few scholars have long made these contentions, Professor Song Ki-ho of Seoul National University among them.

South Koreans are also taking the similar views, I think. So Chinese annexation of North Korea may be quite high probable.

It's a term used for childly calling ownership of an item. Two kids spot candy, the first one to call "dibs!" gets the candy. Similar to the way you seem to think country ownership politics go.

Thanks for this. I don't know what "two kids" mean. Maybe South Korea & China. If so, South Korea better not to do.

China increases troops on North Korea border
The Chinese military has boosted troop numbers along the border with North Korea since September amid mounting concerns about the health of Kim Jong-il, the North Korean leader, according to US officials. Beijing has declined to discuss contingency plans with Washington, but the US officials said the Peoples’ Liberation Army has stationed more soldiers on the border to prepare for any possible influx of refugees due to instability, or regime change, in North Korea.

China's Annexation of North Korea for solving abduction issues
I think Ishara's real purpose is...
kim jong il will tell the United States to annex instead of China.
as for N-korean, it is sure that USA is far better than China
i thnik even most N-korean know it. of course, so is even Kim Jong il.

The political power of pro-U.S.A. is possible next to China.
it is not acceptable for china ...
Both are acceptable for Japan because there is a buffer area called South Korea.

then...

So who'll be next for qina to annex? Japan, maybe?

So maybe if you call S. Korea merely a buffer zone then maybe Korea and Japan should war each other if that implies a second Japanese annexation or imperialism whatever.

Chinese full control over North Korea will be the short cut for solving NK's abduction of Japanese citizens.

I never thought Japanese people took seriously about the abduction issue (that stopped long time ago) and its goverment was just using it as a political card.

??
indeed ,Japan learnt the annexation of South Korea was the most stupid thing..:p
When either is said, Japan does not want to be related with South Korea any more.
Japan is good the buffer area merely exists.

North Korea is a pain in the *** for all of us, but China won't leave it like that, which is just irresponsible.
