I had the thought for this a few weeks ago and fleshed it out while I had some idle time to myself.
It is about a young male who has no idea what he wants to do with his life, and comes upon a male a little older than him who is a Wizard and becomes much more than he thinks and teaches him a lot about the life he will lead later as he wishes to initiate the boy into a powerful clan of magic users.

Cherry Dawn.

The blossom was just starting to fall. The leaves of these most beautiful trees wavered in the breeze as Hayosuke awoke, rubbing his eyes while seeing the blossom fall into the arms of the wind that dragged it away into the distance.
The alarm clock had not gone off that day, so although he was much later than normal for school, he jumped out of his bed, washing and dressing, bounding down the stairs and letting himself out.

He knew how he felt about the school he went to and it pained him sometimes as he was a quiet type and not one to draw attention to anything that might have been unusual or striking.
He could almost have thought he was not invisible sometimes and he did in a way wish he were as he was bullied by the older boys most cruelly so.

Dashing down the busy streets he came upon the looming building of his school. It had been a modern structure at some point though some wear and tear had gone far into making it seem a veritable prison to Hayosuke.

Staring down the road where he had stood, Mito caught sight of him, his mind on getting a chance to talk to the boy, but with so many already in there who tried to initiate young men into protection rackets and places where they would gamble, he thought he would let the boy come to him if he ever caught sight of him that is.

To be continued.

Thankyou Justin. I will.

Cherry Dawn Continued...

Hayosuke was oblivious to the male's approaching interest. Not thinking to look behind him for any reason. Perhaps he needed not to do this?

He is protected. Thought Mito. Though why he did not know - he had a guardian with him who glanced around at the fellow when Hayosuke had his back turned. The guardian angel had acknowledged his presence and it unnerved him.
The ghost's pale grey face saw he was a potential threat, but he thought he was not. The problem is that now he had caught sight of him, he had to get to Hayosuke via somehow placating his guardian. And that would be a task in itself.
In the distance he could see the young male stroll casually into the school without a care in the world.

Hayosuke felt as though his soul had been probed and wished he could take his mind off this feeling as he sat in class listening to the tutor intently.
He quickly found out that he was the only one doing this as the others were passing around a few notes in the class room while giggling around the beautiful girls who blushed deeply.
He saw what was going on and looked around at the other class clowns until he was forced a rough note, all crumpled into his hand by one of them as they laughed loudly, drawing attention to the poor boy who just sat there red-faced staring at the Tutor with an expression of pain on his countenance.
