Hi!

When I move to Japan, I am going to work as a bodybuilder,
would I be allowed to compete on stage with other Japanese bodybuilders?

Thanx

Jonas

I`d assume that there would be some kind of association for that, like I know they have the JSA for Skateboarding, heh but who knows, if lady-luck has her way with you then you could potentially be the next Bob Sap and become famous from your image alone.

Yes, you will. I worked out in a gym in Kyoto where the owner was a compeditor. He complained that he was never given a fair judging, (which I think he was onto something). He came like second twicetimes and 3rd twice. - but you will be able to compete.

Hi!

Thanx for your reply I just wonder where I could find information on where there is bodybuilding competition in Tokyo or somewhere?

Thanx

Jonas

You might want to check out bodybuilding.com's forum. They have a great forum and a lot of competitors hang out there. They should be able to answer your question.

I’m used to help bodybuilders prepare for their competition. I do not live in Japan but work closely with some japanese bodybuilders and also some friends in USA.
Email me if you need more info
